Smugglers Cove Beach Resort & Hotel Nadi, Nadi

The hotel offers a good view of the ocean and sunset from the room, despite some noise from nearby renovations. Sleeping in the comfortable four-bed setup was pleasant; however, the lack of towels was inconvenient. The staff are welcoming and kind, typical of Fijians, but some instances of poor service were noted, like a negative experience with a rude backpacker. The location is convenient for the airport and port, with plenty of activities nearby, though proximity to the dining area affected swimming enjoyment. The dining experience, while on the water and offering tranquil settings, was not satisfying, lacking options like juicy burgers. Overall, the facilities are in good shape, meeting basic needs for an enjoyable stay.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms provided a beautiful view for enjoying sunsets, despite being a bit old, and there were more beds than expected in the dorm room. The location was excellent for a quick stay between travels, with easy access to the airport and close to necessary amenities. I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is superb, especially if you plan to take a boat from Port Denarau to the islands. The rooms, although slightly dark due to a connecting door, were sufficient. The service was friendly, and the staff even helped us with our transport bookings. The dining options were decent, although more variety would be appreciated.

The hotel rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortable, equipped with a washing machine and a dryer which was perfect for post-cruise preparations. However, the room had limited lighting and more beds than advertised due to a bunkbed blocking the fire escape.

The hotel's location is perfect, surrounded by other hostels and fantastic for drop-offs/pickups directly outside for tours. The rooms, however, are extremely basic, old, and run down, with cockroaches and noise from a vibrating A/C unit. The dining options are below average with oily scrambled eggs, but the service stands out for being very welcoming and accommodating, especially at the tourism desk.
